The ten participating villages are located in the Toledo and Stann Creek districts:

  • Stann Creek: Hopkins, Georgetown, Santa Rosa, and San Roman.
  • Toledo: San Isidro, Trio, Golden Stream, Indian Creek, Big Falls, and Blue Creek.

Key activities and deliverables

20 Community Groups, approximately 160 people, will expand their knowledge

on topics such as entrepreneurship (business plans, marketing), nutrition, health (household and community sanitation, hygiene), gender equality, and natural resource management (forest fires, fuel-efficient cooking).

The participating Community Groups will be eligible to access funding as subgrantees.
